There are some big events taking place in England this year. Today we are sharing a little more about some that we are particularly excited about.
The King’s Coronation
This once in a generation royal event will happen on Saturday the 6th of May. The ceremony, which will take place at Westminster Abbey, is expected to last around 3 hours and will be followed by a procession through London.
The Eurovision Song Contest
From the 9th – 13th of May the Eurovision Song Contest will be held in the UK for a record 9th time. Liverpool are hosting for the first time at the Liverpool Arena. The city will also have other events across the city for the Eurovision Village and EuroClub.
RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival
2023 marks 30 years of the RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival. It is being held from the 4th to the 9th of July. As the world’s largest flower show, you can expect over 34 acres of breath-taking florals. Alongside these florals you will find artists, performers and chefs.
Liverpool Biennial
Curated by Khanyisile Mbongwa, the 12th edition of the Liverpool Biennial returns from the 10th of June to the 17th of September. The UK’s largest festival of contemporary visual art it is set to take over galleries, museums and other public spaces across the city.
